Kyoto: It attracts world “FUSHIMI INARI SHRINE”

Fushimi Inari Shrine is well known for ultimate torii gates. It’s one of the most visited places by tourist from all over Japan and world to pass through them. The main hall is established at the foot of Inari Mt. and the shrine precinct is considered to consist of the entire mountain.

Inari Mt. is covered with about 10,000 torii gates (The torii gates are called “a thousand of torii gates” but actually it’s wrong!) and the number of torii gates are still increasing. Full trail to the summit of the Mt. and returning takes about 2-3 hours. We do recommend you to visit in the morning.

The shrine has been elevated to the highest rank for about 30,000 Shinto shrines dedicated to Inari, the Shinto god of rice.
