Kobe: A famous power spot “IKUTA SHRINE”
| Ikuta shrine is located in the center of Kobe, it has over 1800 years history. The name of area, Kobe, was originated from Kanbe, which referred the 44 houses taking care and protecting the the deity of Ikuta shrine.
The shrine was destroyed several time, a flood disaster, Kobe air raid during WWⅡ and the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, however it’s rebuilt every time and it makes people revere the place as resurrection of deity. The deity has seen the shrine attract numerous athletes and artists in particular. |

It’s said if you pray for love facing the cedar tree, your wish will come true. |
